Frankly, I see a lot of bikes around town locked poorly. Whether it’s locking up only the wheel spokes or neglecting to lock any part of the frame at all — I’ve seen a lot of questionable locking decisions.
One site — titled simply Lock Your Bike — aims to change that. It has locking technique and it also offers up reviews of different locks. It’s a good little site, so go ahead and take a look.
