You’ve see the reports here lately–another summer and another surge of stolen rides. This post over on Craigslist is a good reminder to learn how to lock your bike and be smart:
Hospital security camera caught a male riding up to bike racks on a blue Schwinn armed with cable cutters. He left his Schwinn behind without locking it and rode away on a stolen Fuji (definite upgrade!). Sounds familiar? Similar scenarios at the Farmers Market on Sunday and other places around town. I highly recommend U-locks if you want to keep your ride.
