MD Streets Rank No. 8 in Bicycle Safety

    Heavy sigh, this is one of the problems with LAB Bicycle Friendly State (BFS) program, it only covers STATE policy on STATE roads. That is to say only 10% of Maryland roads are “ranked” not the state as a whole. I could get into a lot more detail as a former contributor (one of several) to LAB’s BFS questionnaire but needles to say I have given up putting any faith in the rankings as the questionnaire does not really get at what needs to be got at as far as Maryland is concerned.
