- Khalil Zaied named Baltimore’s deputy chief of operations (Baltimore Business Journal)
Khalil Zaied, the head of the city’s Department of Transportation, has been promoted to deputy chief of operations for Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.
Zaied had served as the director of Baltimore City Department of Transportation since 2010. In his new role, Zaied will oversee several city agencies including transportation, the Parking Authority of Baltimore City, the Department of Public Works and the Department of General Services.
