Register for Bike to Work Day 2013

Bike to Work Day 2013 Here’s what you need to know about Bike to Work Day this year. There are going to be pit stops all over town, and each one will offer a lite breakfast, beverages, buy-one-get-one cards from Chipotle and bicycle mechanics for a quick tune-up. Here are the pit stops themselves this year:

  • Baltimore Bicycle Works (1813 Falls Road)
  • Baltimore City Health Department (1001 East Fayette Street)
  • Brooklyn (Bambeco at Baltic Avenue & Hanover Street)
  • Harbor East (Aliceanna Street & President Street)
  • Inner Harbor (McKeldin Plaza)
  • Johns Hopkins University (Outside Mason Hall)
  • Joe’s Bike Shop, Mt. Washington (5813 Falls Road)
  • MD State Highway Administration (Guilford Avenue & Madison Street)

Can you believe it’s been a year since the critical mass ride rebranded itself as the bike party?  What started as a ride with, like, 70 riders has blossomed into the huge event it is now.  Come celebrate the one year anniversary with the bike party folks by decking yourself out in some prom attire and hopping on the bike.

Sorry for the hiatus–Friday was Opening Day, and afterwards I headed north to the NYC area for the weekend, so I was offline for awhile.

Anyhoo, recently, the Baltimore Bridges alleycat went down. Patrick continued his reign by taking home first, Megan second and Neil (from DC) took third.
